Club NXT U23 supera a Oud-Heverlee Leuven con una actuación dominante

Club NXT U23 made a statement in this pre-season friendly, dispatching their Belgian visitors with a clinical and assured performance. The home side controlled proceedings from the outset and created a buoyant atmosphere that reflected their superiority on the pitch. Oud-Heverlee Leuven offered little resistance and found themselves chasing the game almost from the first whistle.

The hosts took the lead in the 12th minute when an unmarked player finished with composure to put Club NXT U23 ahead. Eight minutes later, they doubled their advantage with a second goal that suggested the visitors had no answer to the home team's intensity. By the 38th minute, a third goal extended the lead further and effectively settled the contest well before half time.

Club NXT U23 continued to dominate after the break, though their intensity dipped slightly as the game became more routine. The away side made several changes as the match wore on but never managed to threaten the home goalkeeper in any meaningful way. Their defensive frailties were exposed repeatedly, and they struggled to construct any attacking play of note.

The 3-0 victory gives Club NXT U23 valuable match fitness and confidence heading into their competitive campaign. For Oud-Heverlee Leuven, the heavy defeat serves as a sobering reminder of the work required before their season begins. The friendly achieved its purpose for the hosts, though their opponents will be keen to put this result behind them quickly.
