Udinese claim dramatic away victory at Monza

Udinese took the lead through J. Piotrowski in the 32nd minute at the Stadio Brianteo. Monza responded five minutes later when A. Colpani equalised to level the match at 1-1.

The visitors then struck twice in rapid succession before the interval. J. Ekkelenkamp put Udinese ahead in the 45th minute, and H. Kamara extended their advantage moments later to give the away side a 2-1 lead at half-time.

Monza pulled one goal back to make it 2-3, but Udinese held firm to secure a 2-3 victory away from home. The result gave the Friuli club a successful start to their campaign on the road.
