Mirassol and Palmeiras Share Points in Stalemate

Eduardo put Mirassol ahead in the 50th minute, assisted by Igor Formiga, after the home side had started the second half on top. Palmeiras found their way back into the match and levelled through Mauricio in the 75th minute, with G. Gómez providing the assist.

The match grew heated in the closing stages. Denilson was shown a yellow card for Mirassol in the 85th minute before A. Gabriel received a second yellow and was sent off for Palmeiras in the 90th minute. N. Moura also picked up a yellow in stoppage time.

With Palmeiras down to ten men, Mirassol pressed for a winner during ten minutes of added time but could not find a breakthrough. The match finished 1-1 Mirassol and Palmeiras.
