Lorient's Away Win Ends Lens Unbeaten Run

RC Lens dominated the first half but could not find the breakthrough. Lorient offered little going forward early on, and the visitors picked up a yellow card when N. Adjei was cautioned in the 14th minute. RC Lens had their own player booked shortly after when Y. Titraoui received a yellow in the 26th minute, but the home side still could not convert their pressure into a goal by the interval.

The match turned in the 54th minute when M. Koné went ahead for Lorient, assisted by P. Katseris. RC Lens pressed for an equaliser but could not break down their visitors, and Lorient held on for a 0-1 victory away from home.
