Newcastle and Bournemouth share spoils in entertaining draw
Bournemouth made a bright start and went ahead in the ninth minute when M. Tavernier found the net. Newcastle responded well and drew level in unusual fashion when M. Thiaw's own goal made it 1-1 in the 35th minute. The hosts then took the lead two minutes later through H. Barnes, assisted by L. Hall, to make it 2-1 at the break.
Bournemouth pressed for an equaliser in the second half and got their reward when J. Ramsey scored in the 88th minute to level the match. The sides could not find a winner, and Newcastle United and Bournemouth ended their Premier League clash with a 2-2 draw.
