Al-Ittihad secure commanding away win at Al Faisaly

Al-Ittihad took the lead in the 28th minute when S. Bergwijn finished after R. Ríos set him up. The away side doubled their advantage before half-time as Y. En-Nesyri scored in the 43rd minute, assisted by G. Ilenikhena.

Al Faisaly offered little response after the break. En-Nesyri added a third goal in the 59th minute, again with G. Ilenikhena providing the assist. H. Kadesh picked up a yellow card for Al-Ittihad in the 48th minute.

Al Faisaly pulled one back in the 87th minute when T. Bongonda scored with S. Haddad providing the assist, but it came too late to change the outcome. Al-Ittihad held on for a 1-3 victory over Al Faisaly.
