Inter edge Udinese in eight-goal thriller at home

Udinese made a flying start and went ahead early when J. Abankwah finished in the ninth minute with U. Gómez providing the assist. The visitors doubled their lead just seven minutes later through J. Ekkelenkamp, assisted by K. Davis, who picked up a yellow card before half-time in the 45th minute.

Inter responded well to pull one back in the 26th minute with C. Augusto, then equalised through N. Barella in the 35th minute, assisted by M. Thuram. The hosts took control after the interval. Thuram added a third for Inter in the 57th minute, assisted by A. Diouf, before F. P. Esposito made it 4-2 in the 67th minute with P. Zieliński setting him up. A. Bonny extended Inter's lead to 5-2 in the 79th minute. I. Gueye pulled one back for Udinese in the 90th minute, assisted by V. Bayo, but it was not enough as Inter held on for a 5-3 victory over Udinese.
