Paderborn thrash Hoffenheim with three first-half goals
SC Paderborn 07 took control early and went ahead when S. Castaneda scored in the 29th minute. Hoffenheim fell further behind before half-time as S. Marino added a second in the 42nd minute, assisted by L. Curda. W. Burger was shown a yellow card in the 45th minute.
After the break, TSG Hoffenheim pulled one back through A. Daghim in the 50th minute, with M. Moerstedt providing the assist. Paderborn restored their two-goal advantage when S. Tigges scored in the 69th minute, assisted by J. Sticker. The home side held on for a 3-1 victory over TSG Hoffenheim.
