Real Sociedad edge Valencia in five-goal thriller

The match swung back in Real Sociedad's favour in the 75th minute when C. Soler converted a penalty to make it 2-1. Valencia's afternoon deteriorated further in the 84th minute when L. Beitia put the ball into his own net, extending Real Sociedad's lead to 3-1. A. Barrenetxea added a fourth for the visitors in the 90th minute, assisted by C. Soler, though O. S. Óskarsson was sent off moments later as Real Sociedad held on for a 2-3 victory against Valencia.
