Real Salt Lake thrash New England Revolution 3-0 at home

Real Salt Lake went ahead inside two minutes when A. Hezarkhani opened the scoring. New England offered little resistance as the home side controlled the first half. C. Gil picked up a yellow card for New England just before the break.

The visitors remained under pressure after half-time. M. Guilavogui was cautioned for Real Salt Lake in the 46th minute as the home side pushed forward. S. Solans doubled the lead in the 62nd minute, assisted by N. Caliskan, before adding a third in the 80th with M. Guilavogui providing the assist. Real Salt Lake's 3-0 victory over New England Revolution was sealed well before the final whistle, with J. Wynder booked for the away side in the 61st minute and R. Cabral cautioned for the hosts in the 75th minute.
