Greece stun Germany with away victory in Nations League

Germany dominated possession for long stretches but could not break down a stubborn Greek defence. Y. Bisseck picked up a yellow card for Germany in the 17th minute, while Greece's G. Vagiannidis and K. Karetsas were cautioned in the 18th and 22nd minutes respectively.

The breakthrough came in the 74th minute when D. Kourbelis found the back of the net to give Greece a 0-1 lead. P. Retsos had already been booked in the 57th minute, and D. Kourbelis himself received a yellow card in the 68th minute before scoring the winner. Germany pressed hard in the closing stages but could not find an equaliser, handing Greece a 0-1 victory away from home.
