Internacional edges past Corinthians in Brasileirão clash

Internacional went ahead inside the opening minute when Vitinho scored with A. Patrick providing the assist. Corinthians offered little response in the first half, though both teams picked up yellow cards as the match wore on.

The away side pulled one back late in the game when A. Luiz scored in the 80th minute, with Vitinho credited with the assist. Internacional restored their two-goal advantage just three minutes earlier when A. Patrick added a second in the 77th minute, assisted by B. Henrique. That goal proved enough to secure the points despite Corinthians's late effort. Internacional held on through five minutes of added time to complete a 2-1 victory over Corinthians.
