Tulsa y Lexington empataron sin goles.

FC Tulsa and Lexington SC served up a cagey affair at Skelly Stadium, with neither side able to break the deadlock across 90 minutes of competitive football. The encounter was feisty from the start, with L. Spencer receiving an early yellow card for Tulsa in the opening minute before P. Goodrum and A. Cissoko both saw yellow within the first five minutes. The intensity was evident as both teams looked to establish dominance, but clear-cut opportunities proved hard to come by in the opening stages.

The midfield battle intensified as the first half wore on, with several players picking up cautions as the match became increasingly physical. L. Dorsey, N. Firmino, L. Stauffer, and L. Batista all entered the referee's notebook by the 30-minute mark, indicating the competitive nature of proceedings. X. Zengue added Lexington's third yellow card just past the half-hour mark, but the scoreline remained level as both defences held firm against sustained pressure.

After the interval, the pattern continued much as before, with neither team able to find the breakthrough that might separate them. T. Scott and M. Henry-Scott picked up bookings for Lexington as the visitors sought to push forward, while Tulsa worked hard to create openings on home soil. The hosts pressed for a winner in the closing stages, but Lexington's rearguard remained resolute throughout the second half and the added four minutes of stoppage time.

The 0-0 draw leaves both sides with a point apiece from a match that ultimately lacked the cutting edge needed for victory. FC Tulsa will reflect on a competitive home performance but rue the chances that went begging, while Lexington can take solace from a solid defensive display on the road. Both teams will look to sharpen their attacking play when they resume USL Championship action next time out.
