بايدو يحطم آمال ترورو بفوز متأخر على أرجيل خارج أرضه

Truro City hosted Plymouth Argyle in a friendly fixture that offered little in the way of early fireworks. The home side started competently enough, but neither team managed to create clear-cut chances in a cagey opening period. The atmosphere was relaxed, befitting a pre-season encounter designed more for match fitness than drama, though both sides showed intent to take the game seriously.

Plymouth made the decisive breakthrough in the 83rd minute when M. Baidoo found the back of the net to put the away side ahead. The goal came late enough to leave Truro City little time to mount a comeback, and the visitors held firm during the remaining minutes to secure the three points. Baidoo's clinical finish proved the difference in what had been a tightly contested contest.

For large spells, the match was dominated by midfield scrapping and defensive solidity from both teams. Truro City pressed for an equaliser after going behind but struggled to test Plymouth's goalkeeper. The visitors, meanwhile, controlled proceedings in the latter stages and managed the game well to protect their advantage.

The result gives Plymouth useful preparation ahead of the new season, with an away win under their belts. Truro City will look to bounce back from the defeat in their remaining friendlies, using the experience to sharpen up before their competitive campaign begins.
