BSC Young Boys made light work of their visitors from the lower divisions in a thoroughly dominant display at Stade de Suisse. The home side controlled proceedings from start to finish, creating space and opportunities at will against a Carouge outfit that offered precious little resistance. For Young Boys, this was the kind of confidence-building result that provides momentum heading into their competitive fixtures. Carouge will take little from the encounter but such mismatches are common in the early weeks of summer preparation. The hosts can move forward with positivity, though they will face considerably sterner tests in the weeks ahead.
