Pogoń Siedlce stun Radomiak with away victory

Radomiak Radom hosted Pogoń Siedlce at their stadium on a warm July day as both sides continued their preparations for the new season. The home crowd turned out in reasonable numbers for what promised to be a competitive warm-up fixture between two regional rivals. The opening stages saw both teams settle into the match at a measured pace, testing each other's defensive shape without creating clear-cut chances.

Pogoń Siedlce struck first and took the lead against their hosts, putting them in control of the contest. Radomiak responded well to going behind and levelled the score through a goal of their own, suggesting they might turn the match in their favour. The momentum appeared to shift towards the home side after drawing level, but Pogoń had other ideas and regained their advantage before the final whistle, securing a 2-1 win that will boost their confidence heading into the campaign.

The away side showed resilience and quality throughout, particularly in how they managed the match after falling behind. Radomiak created opportunities to push for an equaliser late on but could not find another breakthrough. Both teams used the fixture to work on their tactical shape, with fresh legs introduced as the game wore on and the summer heat took its toll on the players.

For Pogoń Siedlce, this victory away from home represents an encouraging result that will please their coaching staff as they continue their build-up. Radomiak will take positives from their attacking play but will want to tighten their defence ahead of their next outing. Both sides now turn their attention to the challenges that await them in the competitive fixtures ahead.
