Sandecja Nowy Sącz écrase Humenné dans une victoire amicale confortable

Sandecja Nowy Sącz made light work of their visiting Slovak opponents in what turned out to be a comfortable afternoon at the Stadion Sandecji. The home side controlled proceedings from the outset and found their rhythm well before half-time, building a commanding position through quick, incisive football. FK Humenné offered little resistance in the opening stages as the hosts carved out space with relative ease.

The home team struck twice in quick succession to put the match beyond doubt before the interval. A goal in the 32nd minute opened the scoring, followed swiftly by a second four minutes later in the 37th minute. Humenné remained largely ineffective and struggled to trouble Sandecja's defence, leaving their opponents in a dominant position heading into the second half with a two-goal cushion.

The second period saw the same pattern continue as Sandecja maintained their superiority. FK Humenné did grab a goal back in the 65th minute to briefly suggest a fightback might be possible, but Sandecja responded immediately with strikes in the 64th and 66th minutes. Those two quick goals, coming either side of the visitors' consolation, effectively settled the contest and left no doubt about the outcome.

Sandecja's convincing performance will have pleased their coaching staff heading into the competitive season ahead. The 4-1 scoreline fully reflected their dominance throughout the 90 minutes, and they will have gained plenty of confidence from such a commanding display. For Humenné, the defeat served as a reality check, though a pre-season friendly offers a valuable opportunity to address the issues that emerged during this heavy loss.
