Kharkiv et Hradec Králové partagent des buts lors d’un match nul divertissant

FC Kharkiv hosted their Czech visitors on a warm July evening in what proved to be an entertaining pre-season encounter. Both teams approached the fixture with attacking intent, and the early exchanges suggested goals would come. The home crowd settled in for what looked like an open contest between two sides keen to build momentum ahead of their respective campaigns.

Kharkiv struck first when Igor Bahriy found the back of the net in the 31st minute, giving the hosts a deserved lead. The advantage was short-lived as Carlo Paraco doubled their advantage just five minutes later with a fine finish to make it 2-0. The Ukrainian side looked in control at that point, but Hradec Králové had other ideas and came out swinging after the interval. František Čihák pulled one back immediately after the restart in the 47th minute, then added a second just six minutes later in the 53rd to level the match at 2-2.

The momentum had completely shifted to the visitors by that stage, yet Kharkiv refused to buckle. Paraco restored his side's lead with his second goal in the 72nd minute, putting the hosts back in front at 3-2. That lead lasted just one minute, however. Midfielder Matěj van Buren equalised for Hradec Králové to set up a dramatic finale, drawing the away side level at 3-3 with time running short.

Both teams pushed for a winner in the closing stages but neither could find the breakthrough, and the match finished all square. For Kharkiv, the performance showed attacking promise but defensive vulnerabilities that will need addressing. Hradec Králové proved they could compete at this level with a spirited second-half display that earned them a creditable draw on the road.
