Partizan demolish Una Strassen in Conference League qualifier
FK Partizan made a statement of intent in their Conference League qualification clash against Una Strassen, racing into a commanding lead at the Partizan Stadium. The home side came out with purpose and intensity from the opening whistle, and their early attacking intent paid immediate dividends. Ergin Kojzek gave them the perfect start with a goal in the fourth minute, setting the tone for what would become a one-sided encounter.
The visitors found themselves under severe pressure and struggling to gain any foothold in the match. Partizan extended their advantage in the 28th minute when Zeljko Ibrahim doubled their lead with a well-taken finish. Una Strassen's task became considerably harder in the 51st minute when Enis Agović was sent off for a straight red card offense, leaving them with an uphill battle against a rampant home team. The numerical disadvantage proved too much to overcome as Partizan controlled the tempo and shape of the game.
Ibrahim added a third goal in the 68th minute to put the result beyond any doubt, and though Partizan had Aleksandar Zekovic cautioned late on, the damage had long been done. Una Strassen offered little going forward throughout the second half and seemed resigned to a heavy defeat. The hosts' dominance was complete, and they rarely needed to shift out of second gear to see off their opponents.
The 4-0 victory sees Partizan advancing through qualification with an emphatic performance that will give them genuine momentum in the competition. They face the next qualifying round with considerable confidence, having demonstrated their superiority both tactically and in terms of quality. Una Strassen, meanwhile, will reflect on a disappointing result as their European adventure comes to an early end.
