Al-Hilal produced a devastating attacking display to demolish Al-Khaleej 1-5 on the road, with four goals arriving in a devastating 15-minute spell before half-time.

The visitors struck first through M. K. Meite in the 15th minute. Al-Khaleej responded with S. Al-Amri's 38th-minute equaliser, but the goal only delayed the inevitable. Al-Hilal then swept aside their hosts with relentless efficiency. S. Milinković-Savić restored the lead in the 29th minute, then T. Hernández and C. Summbavalle extended the advantage either side of half-time with goals in the 40th and 43rd minutes. S. Mandash added a fifth in the 45th minute to seal a commanding first-half performance.

There was little drama in the second half. A. Asiri had been booked early for Al-Khaleej in the sixth minute, while R. Neves received a yellow card for Al-Hilal in the 66th minute. Neither team produced anything close to the intensity of the opening 45 minutes. Al-Hilal's away display was so comprehensive that Al-Khaleej offered no serious resistance after the break.
