Lillestrøm Steal Europa League Playoff Victory in Extra Time

Lillestrøm SK edged KF Egnatia 2-1 in a thrilling Europa League playoff encounter that required extra time to separate the two sides. E. Sota put the visitors ahead with a 33rd-minute strike, but the Norwegian hosts refused to surrender, equalising through S. M. Foss in the 82nd minute. The goal sparked Lillestrøm's comeback, and they pressed forward aggressively as normal time wound down. With four minutes of stoppage time added, neither side could find a breakthrough, and the match extended into extra time.

T. L. Olsen delivered the decisive blow in the 94th minute, firing Lillestrøm into the lead for the first time. That goal proved enough to secure victory, as KF Egnatia could not muster an equaliser despite their efforts in the closing stages of extra time. Egnatia's E. Sota, who had opened the scoring, was cautioned in the 80th minute, while Lillestrøm's H. Melland received a yellow card in the 120th minute as tensions rose. The home side's resilience and ability to turn the match around after falling behind ultimately made the difference in a hard-fought playoff tie, with the final score standing at Lillestrøm SK 2-1 KF Egnatia.
