Bournemouth and Everton Share Points in Goalless Stalemate

Bournemouth took the lead through A. Scott in the 41st minute, but Everton responded to secure a share of the spoils at the Vitality Stadium.

The hosts had endured a nervy start. A. Scott received a yellow card in the 21st minute before his teammate A. Smith was also cautioned four minutes later as Bournemouth struggled to find their rhythm early on.

Scott made amends for his earlier indiscipline by breaking the deadlock just before half-time. His goal gave Bournemouth the advantage heading into the interval.

Everton emerged with greater purpose after the restart and levelled the score, though the visitor's equaliser proved sufficient to secure Bournemouth 1-1 Everton at the final whistle.
