Nottingham Forest and Tottenham draw blank at the City Ground
Nottingham Forest and Tottenham Hotspur served up a goalless encounter in their Premier League clash on 5 September. The home side pressed for an opening but could not find a way through a disciplined Tottenham defence. D. Udogie picked up a yellow card for Tottenham in the closing stages of the first half.
The second half saw Nottingham Forest continue to search for a breakthrough. N. Milenković was cautioned for the hosts in the 52nd minute as the match remained tightly contested. Tottenham offered little going forward, and chances remained scarce at both ends. J. McAtee received a yellow card for Nottingham Forest in the 78th minute as frustration mounted. M. Fernandes was booked for Tottenham late on as both sides wound down towards the final whistle. After five minutes of stoppage time, the sides shared a 0-0 draw.
