Roma edge Atalanta with late rally at home
Atalanta went ahead early in the second half when Éderson broke the deadlock in the 47th minute. Roma needed to find a response, and they did, with Mateo Hermoso levelling in the 89th minute thanks to an assist from Mateo Soulé.
The drama continued into stoppage time. Soulé struck again in the 90th minute, assisted by Paulo Dybala, to put Roma ahead. Atalanta's hopes of salvaging something were ended when Gianluca Gaetano was sent off moments later, leaving AS Roma with a 2-1 victory.
