Al-Qadsiah took the lead early when T. Reijnders finished in the 14th minute, with M. A. Juwayr providing the assist. The home side doubled their advantage before half-time through two quick goals. T. Reijnders scored his second in the 45th minute, assisted by M. A. Al-Shamat, and moments later M. A. Al-Shamat added a third with C. Baah setting him up.

Al-Ahli pulled one back in the 63rd minute when I. Toney converted with F. Trincão providing the assist. The away side got closer in the 82nd minute as I. Toney scored his second, this time assisted by S. Aboulshamat. Despite the late pressure, Al-Qadsiah held on for a 3-2 victory over Al-Ahli. Six minutes of stoppage time were played in the second half.
