Gainsborough Trinity wins 2-4 at Sherwood Colliery
Gainsborough Trinity went ahead through F. Preston in the 25th minute, but Sherwood Colliery equalised just a minute later when they scored in the 26th minute to make it level at half-time.
Gainsborough pulled clear after the break. C. Brown put them ahead in the 67th minute, then T. Williams scored twice more, in the 72nd and 82nd minutes, to stretch the visitors' lead to 2-4. Sherwood Colliery pulled one back in the 90th minute but it was not enough to change the outcome.
