Estonia edges past Luxembourg in Nations League

Estonia went ahead after just five minutes when R. Peetson found the net, giving the home side an early lead. Luxembourg struggled to respond and the match remained tight throughout the first half, with E. Mahmutović receiving a yellow card in the 29th minute before J. Henn was cautioned for Estonia in the 43rd. The away side offered little in the way of genuine chances and Estonia held their advantage into the break.

The second half saw both teams pick up more bookings, with O. Natami cautioned in the 68th minute and M. Kuusk booked for Estonia four minutes later. Luxembourg pressed for an equaliser but found no way through, and Estonia held on to secure a 1-0 victory over Luxembourg.
