أورلاندو وسينسيناتي يتشاركان نقاطهما في حالة جمود

Orlando City SC and FC Cincinnati played out a tightly fought draw at the Citrus Bowl, with both sides creating chances but ultimately unable to break the deadlock. The match had the feel of a contest where neither team dominated proceedings, with neither goalkeeper seriously troubled until the goals arrived.

Cincinnati struck first when P. Bucha found the back of the net in the 23rd minute, giving the visitors an early advantage. Orlando would not be behind for long, however. T. Spicer levelled matters in the 48th minute just after the restart, a response that underlined the home side's resilience and refusal to surrender after conceding first. The game became scrappy from that point, with both teams committing fouls rather than playing flowing football. R. Jansson picked up a yellow card for Orlando in the 29th minute, while Evander was cautioned for Cincinnati in the 55th, followed by M. Miazga receiving a yellow in the 85th.

The closing stages saw neither team able to seize control. Orlando pressed for a winner in familiar fashion but lacked the cutting edge to find it, while Cincinnati defended with discipline to protect their point on the road. Six minutes of stoppage time failed to produce any late drama or breakthrough.

The result leaves both teams level on points, each taking home a share of the spoils. For Orlando, there will be mild frustration at not converting their second-half dominance into three points at home. Cincinnati will be more satisfied with a point earned away from their base, though they too may wonder what might have been had they capitalised on their early lead.
