Diony hace un doble pase a Omonia en un emocionante partido de la Europa League

Omonia Nicosia made a decisive start against Sint-Truidense VV, taking control through early aggression and clinical finishing. Diony opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 16th minute, then doubled his tally just 13 minutes later to give the hosts a commanding 2-0 lead. Sint-Truidense VV found themselves chasing the game early on despite Shunsuke Taniguchi's caution for a foul in the opening minutes.

The visitors fought back into contention as the match developed, pulling goals back to make it a tense contest. However, Omonia's superiority in the first half proved too much to overcome as they added further goals to extend their advantage. Sint-Truidense VV continued to press for a way back into the tie but could not bridge the gap sufficiently.

Omonia Nicosia's home advantage told decisively as they closed out the match to seal a 4-2 victory and progression in the Europa League. Diony's brace proved the cornerstone of their success, and the hosts managed the closing stages effectively to confirm their place in the next round.
