Bahia edges Internacional in five-goal thriller at home

Internacional started well and took the lead in the 16th minute when A. Patrick found the net, assisted by T. Maia. Bahia quickly responded and levelled four minutes later through E. Pulga, with N. Acevedo providing the assist.

The hosts went ahead before half-time. E. Pulga scored his second on 42 minutes with A. Véliz setting him up, then Erick added a third in the 45th minute to make it Bahia 3-1 at the break.

Internacional pulled one back after the restart when Vitinho scored in the 52nd minute, assisted by A. Patrick. Bahia held on to secure a 3-2 victory over Internacional.
