Grêmio beats Chapecoense 3-1 at home

Chapecoense took the lead early through Maurício Garcez in the 15th minute, assisted by G. Augusto. Grêmio hit back quickly, though, and equalised three minutes later when Gabriel Martins scored with J. Enamorado providing the assist.

The home side went ahead before half-time when Cristian Pavón scored in the 28th minute. Marlon picked up a yellow card for Grêmio in the 40th minute, and W. Kannemann received one four minutes later.

Grêmio extended their lead in the 56th minute when Gabriel Martins scored again, this time assisted by Pavón. E. Doma was shown a yellow card for Chapecoense in the 55th minute. B. Pacheco collected a booking for the visitors in the 71st minute, and Tetê was cautioned for Grêmio in the 90th minute. Grêmio finished with a 3-1 victory over Chapecoense.
