Athletic Club secure away victory at Celta Vigo
Athletic Club went ahead in the 20th minute when Á. Berenguer finished after a move involving I. Williams. Two minutes later they doubled their lead through R. Navarro, assisted by I. R. d. Galarreta, and that proved enough to decide the match.
Celta Vigo offered little response in the remainder of the half. Athletic Club controlled proceedings after the break, though Y. Berchiche was cautioned in the 48th minute. R. Navarro picked up a yellow card of his own in the 61st minute, while B. Gerenabarrena was also booked for Athletic Club in the 71st minute as the visitors saw out a 0-2 victory over Celta Vigo.
