Galbraith's goal gives Stoke victory over Norwich
Stoke City took the lead early through E. Galbraith in the 13th minute and held on to beat Norwich City 1-0 in their Championship opener. B. Lawal picked up a yellow card for the home side in the 47th minute, while Norwich offered little in response. Galbraith was himself cautioned in the 49th minute as Stoke moved to consolidate their advantage. Norwich had J. Córdoba booked in the 61st minute and K. McLean received a yellow in the 66th minute, but they could not break down the home defence to find an equaliser.
