Mukasa Double Sinks Wolves in Energetic West Ham Display

West Ham went ahead in the 33rd minute when Daryl Mukasa finished after Antonee Engels set him up. Jarrod Bowen added a second from the penalty spot in the 42nd minute, and Mukasa was booked shortly after for a challenge that earned him a yellow card. Wolves pulled one back through Marvelous Munetsi in the 44th minute, but West Ham extended their lead to 3-1 when Mukasa scored his second with Bowen providing the assist in the 53rd minute.

Kostas Mavropanos made it 4-1 in the 64th minute, but Wolves got a goal back almost immediately when Mavropanos put through his own net in the 69th minute. West Ham saw out the remaining stages to hold on for the victory over Wolverhampton. Stoppage time of four minutes was added at the end, during which Toti Castellanos received a yellow card for West Ham and Joe James was cautioned for Wolves, but there were no further goals.
