Groningen and Twente share goals in entertaining draw
FC Twente went ahead early when M. Pjaca struck in the sixth minute, assisted by W. Weghorst. R. Zerrouki was booked for the visitors two minutes later. Groningen levelled in the 18th minute through T. v. Bergen, with D. v. d. Werff providing the assist.
The home side moved ahead on 29 minutes when T. Land scored, assisted by T. Blokzijl. Twente equalised before half-time as W. Weghorst finished in the 40th minute from Y. Taha's assist.
The sides could not be separated after the break, and FC Groningen and FC Twente drew 2-2.
