Espanyol and Sevilla share spoils in late-goal thriller
Sevilla's afternoon unravelled when A. Sangante was sent off in the 56th minute, leaving the away side to battle with ten men. The numerical disadvantage did not stop them from going ahead, however. L. Stassin put Sevilla in front in the 85th minute, but Espanyol refused to accept defeat. With the game deep into stoppage time, M. Fernández equalised in the 90th minute to secure a 1-1 draw for the home side.
