Stade Rennais held on to win at Angers with early goal
Stade Rennais made a fast start and went ahead in the ninth minute when P. Frankowski found the net, assisted by S. Szymański. The visitors' lead was then doubled in chaotic fashion eight minutes later when J. Lefort turned the ball into his own goal.
Angers pulled one back before half-time. C. Arcus scored in the 35th minute, with B. Van den Boomen providing the assist, and the home side had a foothold back in the match at 1-2. However, Stade Rennais kept their composure in the second half and held on for their away victory.
