FC United thrash Garforth Town in Cup qualifier

FC United made a fast start and went ahead in the fourth minute when J. Buckley found the net. Buckley struck again before the break, but Garforth Town were in trouble long before then. M. Grivosti doubled the visitors' lead in the 12th minute and added a second in the 35th minute to make it 4-0. Buckley completed his first-half hat-trick in the 45th minute, leaving Garforth Town facing a 1-5 loss against FC United of Manchester with only the second half to play.

The home side pulled one back through L. Aldrich in the 90th minute, but it proved too little too late. FC United's 1-5 victory away at Garforth Town saw them progress from the tie.
