Sparta Praha crush Ararat-Armenia in Europa League away win

AC Sparta Praha made a flying start in Armenia. T. K. Guddal opened the scoring in the 20th minute with A. Karabec providing the assist, then doubled the lead just two minutes later. The away side were in complete control and extended their advantage further when John Mercado scored in the 53rd minute, assisted by J. Alcócer.

FC Ararat-Armenia pulled one back two minutes later. B. Wilson scored in the 55th minute with S. Lima providing the assist, but any hope of a comeback faded quickly. A. Serobyan picked up a yellow card in the 56th minute. P. Vydra added a fourth for Sparta Praha in the 71st minute, assisted by M. Jurásek, sealing a comfortable victory. Late yellows for E. Grigoryan and K. Muradyan in the 88th and 90th minutes did not change the course of the match. AC Sparta Praha took the win with a 1-4 victory against FC Ararat-Armenia.
