Atlante FC 4-2 victory over Monterrey in Liga MX thriller

Atlante FC went ahead in the 11th minute when L. Puente scored with W. Portales providing the assist. CF Monterrey equalised seven minutes later through H. Cuypers, assisted by Ó. Torres. N. Carrera was shown a yellow card for Atlante FC in the 16th minute.

Atlante FC took control after the break. L. Calzadilla made it 2-1 in the 53rd minute, then E. Tercero extended the lead to 3-1 in the 64th minute with J. Julio providing the assist. J. Corona received a yellow card for CF Monterrey in the 58th minute.

R. de la Rosa pulled one back for the visitors in the 82nd minute, but J. Julio sealed the win for Atlante FC in the 90th minute. J. Julio and Ó. Torres were both shown yellow cards late on. With seven minutes of stoppage time added, Atlante FC held on for a 4-2 victory over CF Monterrey.
