Sounders beat Minnesota with early goals and late strike
Seattle Sounders FC went ahead in the 16th minute when J. Morris finished after A. Rusnák set him up. The home side doubled their lead in the 35th minute through H. Dotson, and Minnesota United had little answer in the first half.
Minnesota United pulled one back in the 57th minute when A. Markanich scored with B. Hlongwane providing the assist. The visitors briefly offered a threat, but Seattle Sounders FC added a third in the 83rd minute through P. Arriola, assisted by A. Rusnák, to secure the win. Seattle Sounders FC won 3-1 over Minnesota United.
