Aston Villa stun Spurs with late away win

Aston Villa took the lead in the 45th minute when J. Manzambi finished after B. Kamara set him up. J. P. van Hecke was shown a yellow card for Tottenham in the same minute.

The visitors doubled their advantage in the 67th minute. N. Jackson scored with J. Manzambi providing the assist. Aston Villa went further ahead in the 79th minute through E. Buendía, assisted by J. McGinn, and looked to have wrapped up the match.

Tottenham pulled one back in the 86th minute when C. Gallagher scored, with M. Kudus credited with the assist. J. P. van Hecke then levelled in the 90th minute, assisted by A. Robertson, but it came too late. Aston Villa held on for a 2-3 victory over Tottenham Hotspur.
